My Story
Hello, and welcome to Scentsy. My name is Sarah, and I am an Independent Scentsy Star Director.
I found Scentsy when my friend Tam invited me to her group and did a few posts. I wanted to support her and I was intrigued by how good she said they were at fragrancing your home. I had two cats and two litter trays in my downstairs cloakroom and was obsessed with making sure people could not smell them. I used plug in air fresheners, spray air freshener and before my daughter scented candles. None of which I thought really worked but I still ploughed lots of money into them every food shop!
My first warmer and 3 waxes arrived - the beautiful English Breakfast tea cup, Cashmere Pear, Cotton Cookie Candy and French lavender ... and oh my goodness I was hooked! Immediately I ordered another bundle and save (Goldsmith this time) and had one in my bedroom too.
I had seen Tam post about joining every so often but I never even thought about it at the beginning. I showed my friends when they came over and they loved it and added them to Tams group. I was sharing it as much as I could because I loved it!
I got a third Warmer from Tam, stacks of wax, and I was always taking good photos of them for her. We had the odd conversation about me joining but I did not think I could do it. I was not a sales person, I did not think anyone would buy from me!! I did not believe in myself as I absolutely loved the business.
I moved house, and had a break over the summer holidays 2017 from my then craft business. I met an amazing friend who said to me I think you should join, what have you got to lose, £85 for all that kit which even if you do not do it in the end is well worth it, you spend lots on Scentsy anyway, but I think you will be brilliant at it.
So that afternoon I surprised Tam and signed up! And I have not looked back! I have had the most fun time, I have met so many new people who have become friends, I have rekindled friendships through Scentsy. And in addition I have earned a good income, giving me freedom to do more with my family, and given me something for me, when I am a stay at home Mum and sometimes the four walls do close in on you.
It also means that when my daughter goes to school, I do not need to go and find a job that could compromise my ability to be there for her, I will not miss her sports days and nativity plays, I will always be there for school runs.
What more could I want! Scentsy is everything to me, and I am so so grateful. Plus the reward and recognition is like nothing I have ever experienced.
I have achieved 6 promotions to currently be a Star Director and I have a team of over 600 amazing people all achieving their dreams and having something for them. I have travelled the world with Scentsy, earning trips to Mexico, Switzerland and Amsterdam. I have met incredible lifelong friends, I have experienced amazing training, development and my confidence has soared whilst my anxieties have plummeted. It is truly something special with the unlimited potential.
I also love how anyone can do it, no matter of background, age, race, education etc, everyone is included. Scentsy is for every one.
